Natura / Leadership Training

80 female leaders at Natura benefited from Almabrands’ Cultural Transformation workshop

With the goal of strengthening the integration of Natura and Avon under a single organizational culture and reconnecting the teams with the essence of the Brazilian cosmetics brand, the consulting firm Almabrands designed and implemented workshops that linked Natura’s essence to the participants’ personal purpose.

In an effort to strengthen integration between Natura and Avon under a single organizational culture (following their merger in 2020), as well as to reconnect teams with the essence of the Brazilian brand, 80 female leaders from Natura participated in a Cultural Transformation workshop designed by the consulting firm Almabrands.

“Natura is a relationship-driven company, and our commitment under this new business model is to build relationships that promote the holistic development of our beauty consultants. We are in a period of transformation for this team, which leads more than 100,000 beauty consultants across the country, and these workshops have helped strengthen the connection we seek, in line with the brand’s purpose,” says Gustavo de Moraes, general manager of Natura Chile.

Meanwhile, Cristián Irarrázaval, Manager of Training and Cultural Transformation at Almabrands, adds that “every integration process involves cultural challenges, and today Natura seeks to reconnect its employees with the essence and culture of the organization. To be one with Natura. The atmosphere was empowering, and the female leaders left feeling energized and more aware of the positive impact they can have on their surroundings.”

In fact, the goal was for business managers (sales representatives) and sales managers to reconnect with the essence of the brand and its mission to provide “well-being,” so this workshop sought to create a space where everyone could discover their purpose and what gives meaning to the work they do, providing each participant with an experience of personal well-being. Thus, throughout the day, personal purpose workshops were held, led by facilitators who are experts in this field.

Natura, in addition to being recognized for its commitment to sustainability and people’s overall well-being, has now become Chile’s largest beauty consultancy*, and is further reinforcing its mission to make a positive impact on society through initiatives like this one. This workshop not only strengthened the leaders’ connection to the brand but also fostered a culture of collaboration and empowerment among the participants, thereby reflecting the values of inclusion and equity that guide Natura today.

“I thought this event was spectacular. The atmosphere created among our colleagues—the chance to get to know each other better, to build teamwork and trust among us—is directly connected to our work, because we’re people, we work with people, and the company encourages us to feel good—good about ourselves and good toward others— and sharing experiences is always a pleasure,” says Sales Manager Carolina Delgado.

Natura is a multinational cosmetics company that was founded more than 50 years ago in São Paulo, Brazil. With a strong focus on sustainability, inclusion, and well-being, Natura pursues well-being—its raison d’être—with oneself, with others, and with the world, promoting beauty that is responsible toward the environment and people’s well-being.
