Studies purpose and strategy
June 11, 2025 Third edition

What role does purpose play in business strategy today?

That was the question that led us to conduct the third edition of our State of the Art of Purpose study, aimed at assessing its evolution and relevance in Chilean companies from the perspective of their leaders, which we presented on Friday, June 6.

What did we do?

We conducted a quantitative study with 164 executives and managers from companies of different sizes, industries, and regions across the country. This perspective allowed us to build an up-to-date snapshot of how purpose is perceived and valued in the Chilean corporate world.

What did we find?

A clear trend: purpose matters, and a lot.

76% of the leaders surveyed rate it as “very important” for companies to have a clear and mobilizing purpose. This figure is not only consistent with previous years, but also reaffirms that purpose is no longer just a nice-to-have, but a strategic pillar.

At Almabrands, we believe in the transformative power of purpose to create value for people, business, and society. That’s why, now more than ever, we continue working to help organizations define and activate it in a genuine and sustainable way.

Trust is not a static attribute: it is a bond that is constantly built, tested, and redefined in the relationship between organizations and people.
